How it works

The myVineyard system was created out of need of a digital auditing system for farms and vineyards in South Australia. Originally created for Oparina Wines in Padthaway, SA, myVineyard can be tailored to each individual businesses needs.

See how it works!

Fast, Easy, Simple.

Our system is designed to be fast, easy and simple to use with our step by step process.

Scan

A sign containing a QR code is placed at each entrance to the vineyard. Upon arrival visitors are able to open up the camera on their phone and scan the QR code from the comfort of their vehicle, sending them to a quick and easy form.

Document

Visitors can quickly and easily fill in their details before being granted access to the vineyard. Once submitted, a hazards and procedures page will appear, notifying the visitor of all the possible dangers and hazards present within the vineyard at the time.

Secure

Managers are notified upon each arrival into the Vineyard. All data is stored securely and is accessible via the myVineyard website. Each vineyard is given their own private portal where they can view all information regarding their vineyard.

Features of the myVineyard system

SMS message

Upon each arrival into the vineyard, an SMS is sent to the vineyard manager, notifying them of the arrival, alerting them to any possible oversights by the visitor, and providing details to contact the visitor/contractor.

QR code

The QR code for each site is automatically generated for each user, it is sent to both the company and myVineyard so that the company can place it on sheds and other areas if they wish, while myVineyard will create signs to be sent out to the customer.

Download a full report

After the year of hard work is completed, easy download a full year’s worth of data with the click of a button. This will download a full report for you to keep in your files or send off to sustainable wine Australia for auditing. Keeping a track of everyone going in and out of your vineyard and understanding where they and their vehicles have been.

Search function

When disease does come into your vineyard, you want to know how it got there. Our site allows you to search through all the people coming in and out of your vineyard and find out who may have accidentally exposed your vineyard to disease. Our search bar allows users to search for specific dates, names, companies, and responses, and will alert users to anyone who could have posed a possible risk.

Multiple vineyards

We recognise that many companies don’t operate under one site. These sites may be kilometres or hundreds of kilometres apart, and disease in one vineyard may not necessarily mean disease in another. To combat this and ensure superior tracking of visitors and contractors in vineyards, we have built our site so that each company can add extra sites on. Each site has its own QR code with its own sign yet can be accessed through the same portal. Simply click on the name of the site you want to bring data up for and all the data entries for that site will be brought up. Searching entries can be done across all data sites within a company, this means that it is easy to track if someone has been at site with disease and carried it into another site without disease.

Hazards and Procedures

In every vineyard there are many possible hazards as well as procedures to reduce the risk of accidents. Normally this can be addressed via an induction, but not every visitor will spend the time to receive and induction. The myVineyard system takes safety seriously. Our program alerts users to every possible hazard in the vineyard as well as alerting them of operating procedures each time they enter. Upon arrival visitors and contractors will check in via the QR code. Once checked in, a hazards and procedures screen will pop alerting the user of all known hazards in the vineyard. These have icons correlating to each hazard/procedure to be eye-catching and not just a list of words that people won’t read. Each vineyard is individual and therefore have individual needs. Upon registration of each site the manager can choose from a selection of hazards or procedures, eliminating the process writing out each one themselves. This makes the whole process quick, easy, and individual to each vineyard.
